Black Friday Deals + Shopping

Black Friday is 2 days away, that means deals galore (some of which are happening now). Who doesn’t love a good sale? I know I love myself a good bargain, they’re hard to resist but sometimes the best deal is not spending the money at all. Especially if your home is already cluttered. I’ve had to train myself to think this way because I especially love thrifting and finding a good deal. There’s nothing better than someone complimenting a thrift find and me saying, “Thank-you! Can you believe I got it for only $9.99,” and the look of amaze and astonishment on their face. It gets the dopamine going!

As a professional organizer and amateur thrifter, I am here to encourage you to Black Friday shop responsibly. Create a list of items that you need/want, and another list for gifts that you’d like to give during the upcoming holiday season and stick to those lists. If you’re anything like me, you’ll see an amazing deal on something that wasn’t even on your radar and struggle with passing it up because it’s SUCH A GOOD DEAL. Like I said above, an even better deal is not spending the money in the first place and keeping to your lists. You will feel proud of yourself for exercising personal restraint, and won’t have to deal with excess clutter those random items will create. A win and a win!
